How much does Scalp Micropigmentation cost?

Results May Vary From Person to Person

Scalp Micropigmentation in the US has attained wide attention in the past couple of years and has led to a number of new practices offering the procedure, opening in major cities throughout the US. The skill level will vary from practice to practice which is why we offer a free consultation to our potential clients so that they can see the type of work that we perform and the level of detail that is involved in creating the perfect scalp that has the perfect look and gives that patient a feeling of empowerment. As you can see from the image above that the guy had the full head done for front to back and there is alot of work that is put in to one of these procedures and more expencive.

The industry seems to have set a standard price at around $1200 for a back of the head scar. Hairline on the front on the head all through the back blending with the hair of $2000 to $4000 per procedure for scalp micro pigmentation. Some companies will charge by the hour but this is unusual. It is normal to ask for and expect a flat rate for the work that needs to be done. It is important to understand that we turn out quality work so with that you are committed to the process and therefore 2 to 3 sessions space out 2 to 3 weeks.

The most important factor presented to a prospective patient is the quality of the work to be performed and the level of skill show by the technician doing the work.

Some individuals who are interested in the procedure are of the impression that this is really ‘skin tattooing’ and therefore an individual working in a tattoo parlor would be able to do perform the procedure. While we do not want to discredit the skill involved in tattooing, this is a different process and the person performing must have undergone significant training in scalp micropigmentation and must understand the complexities at work behind the process.

The best advice that we can tell prospective clients is to understand the process involved and educate yourself about the procedure. From there get to meet a technician and their work and from there make an educated decision about who you would like to perform the process. This is your head and people will be looking at it. Make sure you make the right choice. We always work to make the patient happy.

Our consultations are free and we are happy to show our previous work.
